LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

Richard has developed and implemented training courses for law enforcement agencies across the country. He has presented at the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (ASLET) conference, the International Law Enforcement Education & Trainers Association (ILEETA) conference, and the Minnesota Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (MALEFI) conference.

For several years, Richard was the Defensive Tactics columnist for Officer.com and LawOfficer.com. Richard was also a featured instructor on Officer.com’s Virtual Academy. His articles have appeared in the ILEETA Journal, CATO NEWS (a publication of the California Association of Tactical Officers), and Police magazine. Richard is also recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in firearms low light training by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA).
